History, Design & Familiarity
Do you believe that an historical palace cannot be trasformed into a modern residential edifice? Well then, feast your eyes on the Hotel Piazza Bellini, a 3-star hotel in the centre of Napoli, specifically created to render it a superb harmonic blend that captures the history of the past and the modernity of contemporary design.
The imposing Neo-classical, late-sixteenth-century palace is where one comes upon the hotel that is the property of the Albanian shipping company family Schanderberg. It was recently restored with care being given to replicate the originality of the epoch in which the building was constructed, while at the same time being enhanced with wonderful touches of design specified by the young owners.
As a result, the vaulted arches of the halls and the marble Seventeenth-century busts magnificently complement the modern furnishings which include the Bubble Club armchairs and the Louis Ghost chairs designed by Philippe Starck for Kartell making the atmosphere so very much fitting, familiar and pleasantly friendly.
Our company's logos are the original murals realized by hand by the Neapolitan artist Alessandro Crocchia—exclusive ly for our hotel. Amusing characters, graphic furnishings, and witty writings play tag with one and other in every angle of the hotel forming an invisible red thread (fil rouge) that reminds one of the spritely and modern hotel designs that one finds in major European capitals.
But the murals are not the only element that distinguishes the hotel Piazza Bellini. In the dining room the huge Wall-Blackboard awaits and tempts each one of you to recount, with designs, your ideas and thoughts that render the hotel Piazza Bellini unique and unequalled.
