Il cliente dovrà richiedere l'applicazione di queste tariffe al conducente del taxi prima dell'inizio della corsa. Sempre prima della partenza al cliente dovrà essere rilasciata dal conducente una ricevuta con l'ammontare previsto e non dovrà essere avviato il tassametro. Insomma, prima di partire si sarà già certi della spesa, senza contare che nell'importo predeterminato sono compresi tutti gli eventuali supplementi che vengono applicati per una corsa con tassametro acceso, ad esempio: supplemento per ogni bagaglio, supplemento festivo, supplemento notturno...
